Need to change the rear springs out to handle the added weight of the tent and a 35" tire and wheel sitting on the arse end but the 35's fit! We make a heavier spring that should work just fine. More to follow!

I run 863's now... going to an 864 with the extra 50# worth of rate...
Or maybe the 863J which is the Comp 80 series rear (1" taller than the 863's)
Gotta put it on a scale and tune it tomorrow. I'll let you know which one we go with. The J's will probably jack the driveline up again...

He has to have some kind of power adder to that thing...there is no way the stock engine can motivate that heavy thing with any semblance of urgency

I'm not sure if Seth did it this way, but gears work wonders towards motivating any piece of machinery.

4:56 gears with a 4:1 T case in it, too...
And if I had known about the 35's from the get go, probably would have gone 4:88's.
Although I did get a little gas mileage back with the 35's vs the 33's.
So maybe not... it still crawls well with the Tera Low in it.
And it does have a couple goodies under the hood. Custom headers, opened up the exhaust with a Flowmaster and some larger pipes... the cat seems to have gotten lost somewhere  K&N, Custom throttle body spacer... couple other things.

Yep,gears are your friend when putting bigger tires.I've seen Sami's(with a 1.6L 4-cylinder) Rockwell 2 1/2ton axles(6.72 gears) and running 44" tires with no problems.I personally I'm going to 5.13 gears with 35" tires.I believe ARBSeth is running 4.56's.

Thinking of going a little wider yet?... Its starting to look a little tipsy? In a very good sort of way though!

Maybe some spacers or different rims.....Im sure you arent ready to change the axles....again.

If someone were to try to duplicate this project (front and rear lift), what would be a ball park estimate of cost? Excluding wheels and tires, and front axle, BTW what front axle did you use Seth?

P.S. Saw the pics in the 4wheel Drive and SUV magazine. Looks even better in the woods!!!
