JJ, that is just awesome. You got a real pretty rig there. It looks like the axles may have been moved forward in the front. Were either axles moved when they built this monster up?

Dave

Yes, forward for front and backward for rear. Both also have the ability to be further adjusted an inch or so in either direction w/ the Nth kit.

No disrespect intended Your KJ's is The Terminator on 4 Wheels, but it looks like with all your have and work. You need some more Meat tucked into those Fenderwells. It's a great ride and highly coveted by many. We have seen the Armor and all the steps you have taken to make this brute come to life. Maybe it's just me but with all the trouble you have gone through and the extra tweeks you have sweeted and overcome. The meats you have look small when mated with The Sherman Tank of KJ's :? :? :?

Looks good mate, lucky you didn't get hung up on that gutter flex

Looks really flat & dry in that pic from the top of the hill, is it all like that + how long does it take to drive to those mountains in the back ground.

keep us posted on the mileage you get out of a tank would ya? i would think you would almost get the same ,if not better than without the sfa, with the better gearing you have now!

As soon as I nail down the difference on my speedo (about 10 mph slow at 60-ish, so going 70-ish when it reads 60-ish....but need to confirm w/ my GPS soon) I will be figuring mileage but I think it is similar to before????

Tires: No worries, I knew it would come up.....
I don't plan on needing or really wanting bigger tires. I have had no problem wheeling anywhere on 33's w/ my XJ and I Really don't want to go w/ different gearing or worry about tucking the bigger meats into the wheelwells. at the most, I might go to 34's if I ever get a wild hair up my keester. There is a chance the height might come down some. I am working out the details and tuning, etc and when it is all said and done it might sit up to 2" lower than now on the 33's.

CDKJ, The mtns in the background of that one pic are the Tehachapi mtns. They are about 30 mins away. The really good wheeling area is another 15 mins North of there in our Last Chance Cyn and Nightmare Gulch area. LOTS to explore out there and a very rich mining history out there too.

Now that looks like as much fun as a Man or woman could possibly have and still have their clothes on  .

I'm tempted to recommend you find a LOST member in your area with a KJ that looks like your with out a lift or close enough .
Then look for an OFF Roader with a Ford Chevy or what ever 4x4 they feel is the end all do all of off roaders.
Then suggest a little off road meet in OFF Roading situations. Then on the day of said meet you show up with your BAD BOY

Then let the games begin, with all the time an money you have spent you more then deserve to and owe yourself a really GOOD time at others cardiac expence. :D   8) 8)

Just a thought

Fox Coil overs w/ a 10" 550# spring on a 10" 450# spring. Upper mount is custom built by All J and located in the factory strut mounting position.

You can kinda see it in this pic:

Thought I had a pic of it on the bench before install but can't find it. :?

No idea on how much lift I netted. I need the measurements from a stock KJ to compare to. Wonder where I can find one of those? :?
