To many variables and hard to say what will be part of the kit and what the buyer needs to supply as of yet.

Just remember what I'm paying is not anywhere the actual cost since I'm using some high end parts.

so will there be different levels of the SFA swap?

Obviously your's is going to be bullet-proof with some of the best components on the market.

But will the SFA kit include all of the extras like the new transfer case and wheels/tires?

T-case,axles,and wheels/tires are on the buyer of the kit.No different levals to the kit,to costly to custom make a kit for each single person per his/her tastes.

well when i said that i meant like a stage 1 and 2. not a different one for every customer. One that is hardcore, bullet proof, and one for someone who is on a budget, but still wants a quality kit.

Nope no stage 1 or 2,It will be based off of the RE long arm kit for a TJ,aiming for 7" of total lift and be able to run 35" tires.

excellent, I cant wait to see this kit, especially on your KJ. I plan on keeping mine for a while, and getting alot more serious with mods when I get another DD.

What do you think about an engine swap? or do you think proper gearing in the Diffs and other bolt-ons like a klune-v underdrive would be easier than an engine swap?

wow! that would be amazing. we put a rubicon express 4.5in long arm in my fathers rubicon with 35's and it is a offroad monster. a RE long arm with 7in of lift and 35's on a liberty would be unstoppable (with lockers of course)

will it be able to do something close to this?? i am extremely excited for this lift. although it is outta my student price range for now in the future it will be a must have.

With proper gearing, the main reason for me doing the SFA swap, the 3.7 will be more then enough power, but that will not deter me from a possible V-8 swap in 2010 8) .For the price of the Klune and the mods needed(more complex mounting) you can get a RockTrac t-case or have most of a AtlasII t-case bought and will be a much better set-up.

The flex of our SFA kit should be the same as the TJ with tha same RE kit.We do have to limit up-travel but down-travel will be killer(limiting straps will be needed).

You're still going to get more body roll in the KJ than a TJ. Bummer of a heavy set jeep like our KJs.

Yes,a little more hence the reason for using 7" wider axles---more stable.

Even on my only slightly wider than TJ axles, I don't notice much more body roll than what I experience in my XJ on the trail. (XJ on 5.5" lift w/ 33's and no swaybars) I'm sure it is partly because of the Anti-rock swaybar though.

I had the same axles JJ used and it always felt stable to me. Even when everyone was telling me I was going to roll it down the Gate, the ass-end felt solid to me as the driver in the cab... then it just pimp slapped the Rubicon and Fordyce when I put the 35's on it. It may look tippy, but a good driver wouldn't have too many problems with it. Given the wheelbase advantage the KJ had over a TJ or a JK, I'd say they're about the same on the Roll-o-meter. I just got back from this years Primedia Industry run on the Con in a 4" JK RE Long Arm and I'd say it's about a wash...
My .02 anyway.
