Well JJ, I am not too sure I'd get very far with that jeep but yes it is very cookie cutter and I am sure there are tons of other jeeps out there exactly like it. I was thinking more along the lines of this jeep though...

Mike, The same questions I was dealing with a few months ago. I've decided to keep the KJ, and pick up a JK Unlimited when i get back. probably a new rubi for 27K, but I have been seeing a lot of X's going for 16-17 lately... extra 10 grand for upgrades... hmm well at least I still have some time to make up my mind.

I wouldn't waste my time on the Rubi. Get the X or even a 2wd version and spring for the new bolt in D60s and an Atlas and 37's or 40's. Talk about easy and badass. add your other personal touches and wheel.

You are talking about the JK Rubi right?

Yes Inc, the JK. Been thinking about that route too JJ, but I plan on running 35's with no lift. The D44's are up to the task, the 60's would be over kill. So, the X is just an easier route for what I want, 17k for the JK, 1600 for the front D44, rear D44 is standard, anouther 100 bucks for the locker wiring harness. Then just watch for a used rock trac from a Rubi that someone is upgrading or an Atlas... Heck even with a new atlass you can have a better jeep than the rubi for a lot less. ahh can't wait till I'm back home!
