Okay, I have a front d30 from a 93 yj. Can i use this for my swap? As long as I take the existing brackets off and fab on new ones to work with my kj? also where can I find the Nth products? and which kit should I buy for a sfa setup? is it for a tj or lj? and what years will work with some fabing of course.

thanks,
wes

It does have the vacum disconect. So basicly having this axle is worthless..

Isn't the front D30 YJ a passenger drop or was that only the CJ.

Get a HP30 from a late model XJ,the D30's in TJ's and YJ's are all low pinions anyway and rather weak. The HP30's gear design, even though smaller then a D44's are about equal in strength due to the reverse cut of the HP30's gears.

You can use the YJ's vacu-30 but if not using the vacu disconnect I believe you will need the one piece axles to replace the 2 piece one.

Yeah I guess it doesn't exactly say Not to use that axle in that link but considering it steers the OP completely Away from it, my guess is don't use it.

Seriously though, sell the YJ axle to a YJ owner and grab a HPD30 or similar from an XJ.
