Provided I did it right I could SFA the Liberty with a D30 and upgrade to a D44 later fairly easily. I might be able to get an el-cheapo (aka free) D30 but if I will have to re fab everything to put in a 44 then scroot, I will just save up for a D44. |

If you are talking about upgrading to a full width D44 front then Yes you Might have to change a bunch of stuff Unless you are sticking w/ a coil-over front on the D44 anyway. Actually, The change over to a full width wouldn't even be all that bad even if going From coil-overs to springs and shocks. You would just need a seat for the springs and mount for the shocks in the front. A lot of the basics would carry over. I suspect that there might be an upgrade in my future but I will wait and see how these other full width SFA KJ's shake out 1st. We already know lots about the TJ width/coil-over sprung versions, now for some testing and tuning and trail reports from the full widths. That is the beauty of Jeeps...they are never done no matter how built they are. |
