Post subject:  SFA swap from Cape Fear 4X4
ok guys... the shop that fixed everything for me said that i could post this up here...he said if you want info he will gladly talk to you... he said he could do a similar sas based off mine for a base price of 6,000.00
what this encludes;
-coil-overs, springs
-exhuast
-long brake lines
-triangulated 4 link rear and 5 link front (long arms)
-front sway bar
-drive shafts
-t-case adapter from flang to yoke.
-rear springs and shocks
-high steer
-gears of your choice
-the front axle
-Tires and Wheels are not encluded

you can throw in what ever else you want...

now there might be some other stuff i'm forgetting... like i said it will be based off of mine which now works great...give him a call and tell him that i sent you...oh his web site is down but you can still see some of his work i believe, on there

no i don't...if all the materials are in and no tools brake and every thing comes out and goes ok and...see my point...best you can do is call the guy...ask ramble liberty by the way if you want a second opinion...

They do great work there, its definently where I'm taking my jeep whenever I run into problems I cant fix myself. Best of all they're decent, cool guy's. They are a buisness, but they wont hesitate to invite you on a trail run. I have nothing but good things to say about the whole outfit. Anyone in the area whos thinking about a SFA liberty should contact these guys.

okay... so if i plant my lips any harder on there rumps think they'll cut me a discout :roll: :wink:

very well worth it. James wheels his a ton, and has had no problems with the cape fear 4x4 work that was done

james... have you, or do you, experience any issues with bump steer or death wobble? also what lights do you have lit up on your dash board. with my 06 with ESP i dont know what the computer would do with it... as well as the tire pressure sensors and ABS. that's my biggest concern. i figure if i did go SFA route that i'd constantly have ABS,TPS, and ESP lit up on the dash... and that's if the computer doesnt freak out and lock everything :shock:

i have a airbag light on just because i had to take out my clock spring...that's the only one...i did have engine light on but that was for alternator...i don't have because i have the same rear axle nothing has gone wrong as far as esp...abs light has never came on either...and tpms can be put on to any rim...the system is part of the valve...

I know what's involved and would never do one for $6000 with parts/labor included since I'd still be in the hole by alot of $$$$.Now $4000-$6000 in labor alone is more realistic.

well hey... not everyones a crook ya now :twisted: haha just playing around. The whole deal with this is its a way to get more out of your kj. James KJ is a great rig to wheel with, its capable, simple, and to get it done right the first time its cheap compaired to others out there. They work with what the liberty has and they make it into a beast of a vehicle. Just because james didnt have f/r arb lockd d44's put in with a rubicon transfer case and titanium long arms yadayadayada doesn't mean his rig isn't kick booty. darn its a good friggin deal don't knock on it just because you can't beat it. Accept it as an option for people to get more potential out of there KJ's, you go and throw your 401k into your jeep, I'll pay 6-7K and have a rig thats able to conjure 99% of the terrain out here and be happy.
