I agree. It still gets the point across without making the jeep a rolling advertisement.

Sorry to disappoint. I'll do my best to get some tonight if I can. I haven't taken it off road yet.

you can put resistors on the trailer harness wires and chill the fast flash out that occurs as result of turn signal leds front or rear

however once a led is in the brakes they'll flash fast when you press the brake since the system doesn't detect the low resistance on that circuit until the brake is pressed so there's 2 separate resistance paths within the hazard flasher in the dash

it's a pita and i'd love to smack whoever decided to do the hazard/flasher system on our vehicles the way they did

by the way, ya jeeps lookin good mike :)

What type of exhaust did you end up going with?

I like mine with the purple horny muffler on it, but I really need to get something different with more backpressure, it sounds kind of like a really small deisel engine with HUGE exhaust pipes if it is in the low end of the RPM range, when I really get on the gas it sounds wayy sick though.

Thanks. I m planning on just living with the fast blinking for now. Doesn't bug me so why mess with it, I guess.

2.5" pipe from the final CAT back is all, and I had them put the same Flowmaster Super 44 off road muffler back in. Sounds quieter now than it did before until I get on the throttle and then there is a nice rumble.

no prob, long as it's just led turn signals you'll just need 2 resistors one on each turn signal lead on either your front signal harness, or on the trailer harness and it should resolve the problem totally - only when you add led to the brake lighting system does it get funkier

i ended up having to go back to incandescent for my brake lights because the fast flash on braking blew both of my LED turn signal bulbs

OK I finshed buttoning up some issues on the jeep tonight, I still need some skids made up for the belly, but the jeep is basically trail ready. It drives great on the road and the one time I have had it off road it has been awesome as well. The Aussie and Detroit combo are sweet. I'm going on a trail run tomorrow night so I'll have pics after that. No curbs and no fork lifts.

and i DID love your jeep

Although one thing that would look real neat on your jeep...spot lights under the jeep, but not neon, or else it would be tuner ;)

I will eventually be adding some rock lights, but they will only be turned on when wheeling at night.

Believe it or not a buddy I ran a trail with tonight installed some Harbor Freight lights on his front end and they worked great. I am most likely going to go that route as well, but I'd prefer some LED ones. But his lights were a pair for $10, that is hard to beat.

I took zero pictures but the guy riding shotgun with me took a ton. I'll post some up of the first real trail Big Black has conquered since the SAS, in a new thread in the pic section. It was awesome!
