 Post subject: Dana 30 from a Grand Cherokee 2000

May be I'll start to collect things, does this axle work for a SFA? it has ABS, can i keep the ABS with the SFA? it's 300 bucks.

It's a low pinion D30,has CV axles in it,and not worth $300 and the modifications need to run 33"+ tires would take the ABS feature away.Look for a '97-'99 XJ front diff,they are the HPD30's and can be found for $100 most times,or if you must keep the ABS the new JK D44's are the way to go.

go w/ a big axle...the only reason i didn't at first was to get it done and save some time and money down the road...

is the JK D44 the same width as the C8.25"?

okay thats what I thought, its pretty much just the HP D30 and the old D44 from an EB that works with the C8.25"?

Ok I'll let the axle pass, but about the ABS, the only difference is the sensor at the wheel hub right?, so if I find a way to use the same sensor from the KJ to the HPD30 I will have ABS? or am I missing something?
