Could I go with a D44 front out of a jeep? If so what jeep and year?

Any Rubicon w/ low pinion D44 could work. Any other application w/ driver side drop D44 could be made to work too.

Find a South American XJ Front High Pinion D44 (pretty sure they were HP) that would be real cool but pricey as they are rare.

Well i think im getting into a club around here called the Maryland Creepers and they all have XJ's/YJ's/ZJ's/JK's/etc. so if they end up parting thier jeeps ill end up picking up thier pieces that I need :D

EB D44's(Early Bronco) are narrow enough to retain the rear 8.25 and are high pinion diffs with either 3/8" or 1/2" thick axle tubes.
