Someone on EXPO posted some pics from EJS this year and there were some of this SFA KJ. Anyone seen this one before?

any LEOs that can accidently find the owner via the plate number?

don't want to bash it so I'll bite my tongue but that Really makes me feel much better about the height of mine. (disclaimer: though I still feel the height on mine isn't an issue and has proven itself off road numerous times now)

Would really like to see better pics of the setup especially the rear coil-overs and hear from the owner/builder all about it and how it rides, handles, etc.

Ok, heres the site that those pics came from
http://rokklym.smugmug.com/gallery/7925594_DfQiU#P-1-15

you can zoom a whole lot more then the small versions that i posted here. I zoomed in and it says:

"This is a prototype suspension kit. If you have questions, or would like to be put on the list call: 208-390-5696 after April 15th. Thanks, NXS@ida.net"

I'm not sure about the email address, its kind of hard to read, but I'm pretty sure thats what it says.

It would seem that it wouldn't be very stable. Too high.

Disclaimer: I just drive my Jeep and do minor work...I'm a chemist not a mechanic.

To me that looks like a jacked up pavement queen with no more ground clearance than mine with stock suspension. Yes, it has SFA but isn't the point of lifting to get more clearance?

No gas tank protection, no sliders and the exhaust tail pipe would get ripped off, especially when that step caves in. But, after all it is just testing the setup I guess.

yes, the axles are still a bit low, but the only way around that is really big tires. being that high would give great approach, departure, and breakover angles. as long as the tires are being planted on obstacles, then it would do great. the tires look a little small, but that just means it would have better up travel, i guess. that thing has to be really super duper top heavy though!
thats where mopar's 'lower forty' that they just made comes in as well as AEV's highline tj kit. through body work, it allows bigger tires and travel without raising the suspension up as much, keeping the COG lower.

C'mon, with that approach, departure, and breakover angle, if you hit the rockers or gas tank in that thing, you're probably doing something you shouldn't do

the control arms on that thing look mighty short... and he needs spacers baaaaaaaad. I could push that KJ over its so top heavy. Sure is pretty, bet he could fit 40's.
