I know they are not the popular choice but they can be quite flexy if done right and they eliminate all of the steering and axle location issues associated with a coil or coilover suspension.

well yes and no...w/ leafs u only have a limited spot to where your axle can sit... the steering is the same...yes leafs can flex but why not do somthing better in the first place...and would you go and change the rear to leafs?? sounds like if not more the same amount of work...

not worth it, you can get way more flex with the coils, if you look at the old CJs or Chevy Blazers some of them will four-ling the rear, Id like to but I dont have the money to

Leaf springs flex fine, but the conversion from a rear coil spring setup to a leaf one is a waste of effort and time.

We considered it in the rear, real stable just like an XJ, but would require more work than it would be worth.
