Post subject:  '02 KJ's and a AtlasII

Just a heads up for anyone with a KJ with a 45RFE trans and planning to swap in a AtlasII t-case,you want to order the t-case for the short transmission output shaft and get the 2 spacers(one thick, one thin). You will need this setup to clear the trans/t-case mount.I have no idea if this hold true for a KJ with a 42RLE.

There are 3 different output shaft lengths for the 45RFE and they will want to now which one you have,I did not know and wasn't ripping the 231 out to find out so I just ordered the AtlasII for the shortest shaft and the 2 spacers just in case I had one of the two output shafts.I got very lucky and did not have to wait for spacers to ship.By the way my 45RFE had the longest shaft, built in '02/'02.

I am looking at getting one of these in the future. How did you hook up the shift linkage?
Thx
