Are problems where are main welder had to back out due to a breakup with his GF(the guy is 40), and then with the site down and no way of contacting durangotang about the front, and not having pic's of the fab that you guys did held us up. Also broke my gas tank and now searching for a new one ha ha. The girls jeep looks just hideous right now though. |

Look for pics you need and print them out. That way you have a hard copy in hand while you are laying there under the jeep figuring and designing. That was how we did it. |

Ain't it fun tearing it apart? Just a work of advice you might want to get way bigger jack stands, you kinda need that front end pretty high and it makes it so much easier. |

Progress ha ha. We moved the Heep from my buddies barn into the Garage finally. We had to have it towed ha ha. so now it sits at the girls house in the garage where it is warmer. This Sunday the unibody stiffeners are being made, so it the steering box plate. The rear is done for the most part just waiting on the unibody stiffeners to be done so we can hook it up. I will get pics this weekend of it. |

So its been awhile since i have updated this thing. We ran into issues with the CRD. Since we have an added intercooler for the motor, we lost about 4'' of room. Well this puts a strain on how we can position the gear box. Just to let you know a ford steering box from 87 to 91 is too long to work. Right now we are looking at a few other choices before we find and get a custom short one that can run 35's. Two choices also for the CRD sfa swap are, one reroute the intercooler lines well help get the space back, and two find a smaller intercooler that routes the same volume as stock for the motor, and problem solved. both Marty and Troy stopped by as well to look at are problem. i will get pics up by end of week, and well have the solution by wednesday |
