HOW MUCH FOR ONE OF THOSE FRONT BUMPERS?!

I love it!

Thanks!!
I have $18 in D rings and about $40 in metal. maybe 4 hours in build.
I have an hour in drilling holes and lining up the brackets to build on... LOL.
the mid section is 1/8" floor plate, I stitch cut to bend easy then weld.
same way on the wings just a mirror image left to right.
I appreciate your interest but I'm not trying to sell a product. I would be happy to show you the steps involved and how I came up with what I have.

You have made my day! Great video and sounds really good

Imagine all the looks I'd get from the Jeep people (where I live) if I had one of those. "WHOA! What's that? A SFA Liberty? WAIT!!! There's a woman driving it!" :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :-)r

If I overhauled my Liberty, I do SFA and throw a v8 in it; like KJWildman (Larry) did to his Liberty
Tons and tons of money would be poured into a project like that but would be so worth it! Mine as well go all out if you had the money and the chance too!!! :pepper: :pepper:

Id love to do a v8 swap as well! Id really like to somehow fit a 4.7 V8 from a GC into my liberty...so can I come play in your show and make this dream come true? or at least take a peak at that fantastic looking truck your son is building! is the motor a 12 or 24 valve?

Great.

Sorry about the hoaky video. I thought it might be cool to shot a video instead of pictures, but, not quit. My oldest son AJ makes it look easy, I'll get him to shot the next one. He'll make it a little more interesting, I am very impressed and proud of the videos he has shot.
Here is a link to his Vimeo.

I should get the interior in this weekend and push for the windshield next week.

Wow. I am impressed with the V8 swap from Wildman. I don't have enough patience to tackle that, just the SFA conversion is pushing me.

The cummins is a 92 12 valve with an automatic that my son is putting in the 65 W300, AKA,
'junkyard dog" . This truck had a Cat 3208, shoe horned in, that is a big motor. The cummins fits in the hole very well. He lowered the motor a little trying to keep center of gravity down.

Your son is an impressive video editor. Yes, definately make him shoot the next video.

Can't wait for the next video

Ever thought about fitting a Cummins in the Liberty? Not sure if it would fit, but the idea sound cool. 8)

Wow, time goes by quick.
Update on the CRD, I was goofing around with the liberty, wedging the front tires into rocks and turning the steering into the rocks to jump the front end up and over. With the ARB locked
I broke the right side front axle on the hp44. Digging deeper I noticed I had bent my steering box bracket, a small amount to the outside.

I did this a few months ago. After I done this I let the liberty sit for a while, so I could think about what direction I want to go.

Now I know, I want to save the money and do the currie rock jock axles.
I first put in a pair of axles from a 1978 f250 with who knows how many miles on them. I can't get the rear seal to stop leaking, from the worn grooves. LOL.

This will give me a chance to tear it apart and do it right this time. The liberty crd is in too good of shape to just let it sit around with a little broken axle. And re engineer the steering box again.

Later, Noel.

Jeepbumm, I saw your pics, your crd looks good.

I was dreaming last night when I was talking about the rock jock axles. Unless I win the lottery. I'll probably just buy beefier parts for what I have.

This thing is awesome! I noticed that you are from north Texas, do you ever head to Rednecks with paychecks by chance? I'm also working on a straight axle swap on an 06 Liberty CRD. Pretty concerned with the whole 4 wheel sensor mess.
