Well unfortunately my brief ownership of an SFA KJ came to an abrupt end this past Thursday night on my way home down Interstate 8. I have no recollection of parts of the day or the moments that lead up to the accident as a result of being knocked unconscious but needless to say I was able to walk away with some heavily bruised legs and some cuts and bruises on the hands and arms. The airbag did deploy and the seatbelt kept me in tight. THe crazy thing about it though was that my set actually broke, as in the whole bottom of it collapsed in on itself,

This is what the aftermath of hitting the rear of a tractor trailer looks like...

DAM SCOTT!!! Glad you were able to walk away!!!! I lost a good friend to the same kind of accident on I-8 coming down from Mt. Laguna in to El Cajon, CA. He was driving a Chevy 4x4 truck and rearended a semi doing 20 down the mountain. Yours actually looks almost as bad as his truck and we lost him! Thank God for the strength of the KJ, it proves itself worthy again protecting it's occupants. Was anyone with you? how are they? Sorry about the loss of your recent investment in it, but it CAN be replaced, you can't!!!!

Scott,

Holy crap man! glad you were able to walk away from that. darn shame man that you didn't get to enjoy it longer. What you going to do with it now. 2 SFA's in one year is not good.
