There where going to be major bind/clearance issues with the Ford Box caused by stretching the wheelbase, I didn't have my Camera on me but I will try to get a few pictures of the setup up tonight. The WJ box really got the box up and out of harms way.
I was also given a cool Idea on what to do for an air box today as well, as my factory intake won't work anymore with the Coilovers up under the hood.

I could still move my front axle about 2"-3" forward with zero issues with the Ford box,my drag link is actually angled towards the back of the Jeep a little using a stock Ford pitman arm.No binding or clearance issues.Just remeber the Ford box is a reversed box and the WJ's is not.

Mine is a good 2-3" lower than your Kj (based on what you've posted) and has the axle pushed forward a ways (I can't remember what you're at I'm at 110.5"WB The front is 4" forward of stock) which makes things a lot harder to get things where they'll work properly. When flexing there would have been steering bind on mine combined with clearance issues with the ford box. Keeping it low sucks lol if it had been built that 2-3" taller the way it was originally going with the OME864's in the back the ford box would have been perfect and it would have likely been driving around for some time now already.

What ARE the diesel guys actually using? I thought I read Jeepbummin tried a JK box with no luck?

Anywaaays... Looks great RedKJ666! can't wait for wheeling shots this winter!!

I'm not sure the steering setups never really gets talked about to much.

The JK steering box can and would have worked with some modification. The real problem with it is that the box does not attach with the steering body it attaches on the steering box shaft with 4 bolts.

Right now we have the CRD sitting with a astro van steering box, and a hydro assist steer. We have already ripped one trackbar bracket on the plated frame side and with the hydro assist it well relieve a lot of pressure on are setup. We are going to notch and bring the steering box up more when we get a chance so the steering well work better.

Got the Front suck down winch on order should be here Friday, convenient it's also payday :)

a 3000lb winch may be overkill for a suck down but I couldn't beat the price.

eh, just a click on it should do fine. a guy in my land rover club had a 10k up front and a 3k in back with axel mounts for this reason. the 3k was fine IMO when ever he did climbs or descents
