did you re-use the speed sensor in the 8.25? I would check for resistance in your wiring, as they could have stretched and broke. I honestly do not know if the ABS sensors work with the speedo. Another thing with re-gearing, the tone ring or sensor may have been set wrong.

other than that, I dunno, Troy did a lot of research and may be able to help more.

Yeah I kept the 8.25" and the Stock speed sensor, The wire has lots of slack at full droop but I'll check that. It's weird that it worked then just died tho. on a side note there will be trail pictures after Sunday for sure.

Well We got it weighed last night, it comes in at 4850.3LBS Which is a lot better than I thought it would be. I didn't get a chance to test my theory on why the speedo died yet, the plan was to try it today then the transfer case took a crap tore out the rear output bearing. On the plus side here are some mild flex shots :)

When Mine died it threw a code for the speed sensor. I replaced them all and no luck. I started to test the wire but ended up finding a buyer befor i finished

I'd say it's a wiring issue found a chafed wire just up from the sensor. Turns out the T-case needed a new Chain, probably needed it before then just finished it off on the NYD run. It also needed the slip gear (not sure what to really call it, it's the one the fork locks into) that locks it in 4wd as the teeth where all tweaked on the engagement side.

The front is still a bit high needs to be adjusted but not much, Hopefully it has fenders and exhaust early this week The open headers are awesome. The choice of 4.56's really woke this thing up even with the 35" Grabbers, Keep an eye open for the rest of the show soon.....

I had those grabber on my yj, awesome tire, but sucked in light snow.

Yeah they aren't great in light snow or icy conditions at all, they do seem to do pretty good aired way down tho. They are however not as bad as I thought they would be we have had it out in 2 snow storms on the road and it handles a lot better in the snow (well in every condition) than it did on my old 33" X-terrains (The worst Tire I Have ever owned). I still haven't taken the time to figure out the speedo, but we have now put enough Miles on it to get past the gear break in period. We have been just running the GPS for a speedo/Odometer doing the math of that we are getting around 23mpg (With the IAT sensor light still on I have to change that soon). It's heading back to the shop this afternoon and will be there all next week to get the rest of the little crap finished up.Shimmy Shock,Bumpers, Battery hold down,Winch mounted, and a few other things I can't think of right now.

23MPG :!:

YOu sure? I lucky to get 15. If you are, I wouldn't fix the IAT or Speedo, maybe the Computer is screwing mine out of mileage!

Maybe? Trust me tho topographically it's no Colorado here for sure she's pretty flat and that has to help. I got around 15-17MPG when I ran 33's with the 3.73's.
