How is the SFA kit you west coast guys are working on doing? I suspect you're trying to have it ready to debut at Moab. That's only a month away. Any possible news to report? Teaser pics?

Soild Front Axle conversion.

Basically your rip out the Independent Front stuff and swap in an axle from a Cherokee or a TJ.

Thanks, Do you get many people doing this kind of conversion? This looks like a big job & is probably not suitable for general road use???

There are 3 that In know of that all sank lots of $$$$$ into it, much what a big built TJ would cost you.

Theres no such thing? :? Only a 1.5in lift which I have. The franken lift is the highest possible lift and its only 2.5-3"

Wheel alignment on the KJ at these heights is critical and must be conducted post suspension fit. If incorrectly aligned the lower control arm (wishbones) on the KJ will collide with the vehicles chassis rails. A large press is also required to disassemble and reassemble the vehicles front strut assembly. It is highly recommended that this system be installed in house, or by one of our recommended installers.

If the LCA is in danger of hitting the Chassis...guess where the UCA and CVJoints are doing. Alignment is not going to be the fix to add the extra 1" of lift.[/b]

SUBURBAN's KJ Purchased in early 2003 the KJ Cherokee (Liberty) is the family tourer and daily transport the 60km each way we have to travel. The KJ is often pressed into towing duties for the competition rigs and for delivery / transport duties with relation to our SUPERIORTRAILERS.COM.AU side of the business. SUB KJ regularly tows up to 2700kg and the duty in the vehicle is a pleasure.

POWER PRO-PERFORMANCE The vehicle is now also fitted with a Power-Pro performance module. This performance module greatly enhances and little KJ's 2.5L Diesel. That combined with the recently fitted 2.5" Exhaust system gives the KJ a performance increase of over 20% that of stock. The unit is tuneable and post tuning worked exceptionally well even under high load, low RPM conditions
The KJ Cherokee is the daily driver of our Principal Mark. H. The KJ was used to develop SUBURBAN's 3.5" to 4" lift and ran under the truck for some 6months prior to release. The 3.5" system if one of the single biggest improvements you can make to the KJ Cherokee. The KJ is often used on family weekends with the SYDNEY JEEP CLUB it is also at many interstate Jeep events.
