Sorry for a late response, I had internet troubles with AT&T :ROTFL: . You are an observant man, and if I leave them that way eventually they will get hung up on something. I am going to get some heavy duty aluminum to skin the under side of the rails. That should take care of any issues like that. Now Im working on trimming the front bumper and closing in the fender wells. I did a little trail riding yesterday and was very pleased :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: . :SOMBRERO:

Getting ready for the first wheeling trip next week. Finished closing in the fender wells. Im still try to get my transfer case shifter cable to push the shifter all the way into 4Lo. I bought a JK cable and will try that in the morning. This pic was from last week without the rear fender wells. Just about 100%Image/url]

Got the JK cable in but had to modify it. The KJ shift box had to be highly modified also. Its been raining all day so I will check it tomorrow. The JK cable has about ¾" longer stroke designed for the 241 case. Putting that cable in the KJ shift box was a brain teaser :dizzy: :ALONE: :ALONE: :ALONE:

Made a engin/transmission skid plate with an oil drain hole and started covering the holes where the plastic was above the sliders. I hope everyone had a great Easter Sunday...Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]

Heres a few pics over the weekend. It was so exciting we were forgetting to take pics in a lot of good places, Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]ImageImageImageImage/url]/url]/url]

I had the jeep weighed, she weighed in at 5,200 lbs with the spare tire in the Jeep. The combination of ORI and a Triangulated front and rear work very well together on and off the road. Between the MetalCloak DuraFlex Joints and the Four Link System I don't see where this Jeep is lacking in the flex department. On loose rocky soil on a steep hill the Jeep climbed without a problem. I am in the learning process in driving this Jeep not really knowing what her real capabilities are yet.. It was a fun weekend. :CAMPING:

In case anyone is interested> over the weekend by GPS, because my speedo has not been calibrated yet I drove total of 350+- a few miles including all the trails we road a 100mi trip to and 100mi trip home stayed 15mi from the off road park with a total of 8 trips=120mi leaving 30miles on the trails. I filled up when I left and filled up when I got home and burned 15.2 gal of fuel yielding 23 MPG I drove between 55 and 60 most of the way. around town I am finding about 19+ MPG. With these 513 gears i'm wondering if 40's will get better fuel milage?? :SOMBRERO: I'm pretty happy with the findings..

Ok, its time for some more updates… Just received a new Griffin radiator #1-28202-X and an F&F Dynamics electric fan kit with shroud and an intercooler from ebay. This is the same stuff except the e-fan BDS used in their Ultimate Adventure CRD. I will post some pics how this works out as it goes in.

I have looked at their build pictures many many times and decided to contact BDS. They were very nice and helpful in giving the info I requested. It works very well for them so I decided to give it a try. I will be able to get rid of that fill tank on the firewall    :pepper: :pepper: :BINGO: . I don't think many of us like that confounded thing. The intercooler from ebay was only $88.00. :jester: http://www.ebay.com/itm/170704142778?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649/url] I won't get a chance to put it in till next week. Im sure I will have to make some kind of brackets for this retrofit. :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN:

All right Im back in action the Jeep has been tore apart again :jester: This is like putting 10 lbs ^&%(( in a 10 lbs bag but it will fit if you do it right. Lots of cutting on the plastic light and grill holder bracket. The mounting brackets have to be cut off the AC/Transmission cooler fan. It will be held in place by a single bolt over the cooler through a made bracket then FF Dynamics sent in their kit some through fin zip clips. Some of those will hold the rest of that cooling fan. The hood Latch bracket had to go except the top which will be welded on the top intercooler bracket seen in the pic. the Griffin radiator an FF Dynamics cooling fan will be supported by an underneath bracket using the OEM rubber grommets spanned by a piece of aluminum bolted through the channel that used to support the original radiator. The new radiator must be offset to the rear just like the original. This is time consuming in making brackets and finding the correct positioning. can't wait to geterdone.
