Working on the side plates. The outside frame on my Kj has 2 levels in it. Pay attention if you do this. Brake lines and inner steel webbing can mess you up. I used 5/8x5 bolts. Sleeving them with 1/2 Black iron pipe which will be welded to the frame preventing it from crushing when tightened for strength. Slow progress, and yes this is my first rodeo. :jester: Image/url][urlImageImage/url][urlImage[urlImageImage/url]

No issues with the speed sensor as far as I know, but I will find out. The speed sensors plug in to the Jk barring just like the KJ. The belly pan has taken a while. I've moved on to the the motor mount reinforcement after removing the cradle. I had 2 medical procedures in the last couple weeks, that will help me with my strength. I'm not the man I used to be but this project has been fun. The MetalCloak bushings were delivered this week, so it all on me now.... bshooter

Before I weld the new motor mounts in place, I have to ask this question; has anyone raised the motor when doing a SFA on the CRD? My motor mounts are not very old, when I replaced them I noticed you could raise the motor quite a bit. Dose anyone think this would put the motor or trany in to much strain or an extra inch wouldn't hurt a thing... any ones thoughts.. Thanks bshooter
Finished up the motor mounts and raised the motor about 3/4"; why-not? I recon if its a problem i'll find out. I will post some pics soon enough     :5SHOTS:

Thanks, In the process of mocking up the rear I found the vertical bolt box on the rear truss for the links would not work.. so that was removed. That was replaced with 4-½" pieces for a horizontal connection. I will be learning how to remove and install new bearings and seals on the axles this week with some instructional help from my local Jeep shop.. I have cut the front lower triangulated links and will be cutting the rest later this week. I will post some pic's later this week. :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: Im hanging tuff.. :dead:

This is the bracket for the rear struts. Their is a 3/16 plate under the Jeep the same size that bolts together through the floor and cross beam. This also bolts to the floor under the seats using the same bolts. The holes will be sealed with some rubber boots. It was fun using my bender for the first time. It defiantly brought back plumbing memories :ROTFL: :ROTFL: :ROTFL: . The tube notcher was very cool :seuss: :seuss: .

After running the suspension through some up and down clearance checks with the drive shafts in place, the links are ready for final welding. The tightest anything touched was 3 fingers on the driveshaft at more then full droop on the passengers side. Yes you can triangulate a 4link front and rear on the Jeep liberty. I can't wait to get on the trails. :pepper: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: :JEEPIN: Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]Image/url]
