That. It's all pics instead of statuses lol. I swear I've seen your KJ atleast 3 times in the past week or so. Oh and I choose to avoid the "celebrities" lol

Finally got it in the shop and work has begun! Stripped off the front clip and dropped out the cradle. Installed the JK transfer case and cut the exhaust off just below the upstream O2s. I then reduced the cradle to a pair of motor mounts. I will tie those mounts together after I know where the driveshaft will be.

Getting some help from the guys.

What an easy swap. Had to remove a wallet size piece of metal from the trans mount and in it went!

Pretty nice progress. I honestly can't wait til it's finished. Gonna be awesome to see a sfa KK. Don't even need huge tires or anything the sfa is enough lol

Got rid of some useless metal. 42 inch tires need a lot of room to move. The bumper support will go too but not until some bracing is added.

Tube. Gotta 180' of 1.75"x .125" wall tubing on the way. I don't want the "my truck was attacked by a jungle gym" look, but we will be reinforcing and protecting the Jeep. We will start with a full cage inside and tie to it through the firewall, rocker panels, a-pillar and roof line above the doors.

Ok, this should help.....

Image

I am ready to start bending tube.

Image

Gonna split flare and attach upper part to hood, also attaching grille to hood.

Image

The plan is to tuck the Warn 8274 behind the grille. I am pushing the grille out one inch and pushing the hood out one inch also.

The madness is becoming clearer. :-)r What kind of coil overs are you using, and what lengths? I'm having a hard time deciding this myself.. bshooter

We are still deciding (begging) what brand but we are looking at a minimum of 14" travel length. Our axle positions should afford us at least 7"-8" of compression but that is just a guess right now. We are gonna get some steering mocked up so that we can make a better guess. I hope that 16" shocks will come through so I can cut some holes in the hood.....naw, just kidding, I don't wanna cut holes in the hood....unless its for a twin screw supercharger.

Well that would mean a engine swap as the 3.7 will not handle boost, does not handle NOS very well either.
