Do you think it would be possible for me to get the original files for these pics (the full size ones)??? I want to try to make a nice wallpaper out of these, and the bigger the pics are the better. I'll post it here when i'm done if that's ok with the LOST mods...

So get with trail testing already! :D The sooner you make sure everything works out, the sooner you can get this thing to market. I've got a credit card with more than enough available credit to do this swap. And the KJ's screaming to get this done. :D

P.S. What did you do for the steering? Is that a steering box from an XJ also? Or TJ?

ah....second mortgage maybe :P

I think thats a mini van box ?

But wasn't that the objective of this whole exercise? To create something with as many off the shelf parts as possible that could be sold as a kit to anyone who wants to do this type of mod. I know I can't do the work involved for this conversion but there is a local shop that has done SFA swaps before who I could take this kit to and have them install it. Or I could shell out another grand or two and just have them create a one off just for me. The benefit of a kit however is a slight cost savings and the ease of replacing any parts when necessary. I would really like to do this swap someday, but living on the east coast, I'm certainly not going to be driving out to Cali to let All J have my Jeep for a month to work on.

If your going to spend 7K....what's another 900 to ship it to All J..? then drive it back..via MOAB for testing ?

your not crazy...I didn't use a complete kit....so you can't really go by the website....you should call Quinn and ask him ...no need to pay for a whole kit when you don't need all the parts...but some of the Nth parts have to be modified..so you can't just get them and put them on

Well to my understanding right now, the Slider has to be modified (they only make it for the D44 and D35). What else would have to be modified? Did you have to mod the control arms? I am sooo gonna have to call Quinn when I finally get the time!

the slider had to modded..the arms were fine.....the frame supports had to be modded..and the stinger mount had to be fabbed from scratch, along with the belly pan. right now its at the exhaust shop getting all new exhaust..then it comes back and the sway bars have to be put on..which is a big challenge, then there is definatly little bugs that have to be worked out, but even with that it looks like I will be taking to High Desert Roundup this weekend, just to at least drive it and make sure everything works right
