I've been reading through the stickys on people's sas builds and was wondering if it could be done (apart from the fox coil overs) solely out of junk yard parts? I have a kj that can't be re registered, it's an insurance write off that i bought for spares for our daily. Would love to make some sort of Frankensteins monster with the shell strictly for offroad use.

Sure. Alot of parts can be taken from the junkyard. Now soley out of used stuff......well I would go thru the axles and all of that stuff. Also brackets will need to be made up.

That's a good point, pretty silly question really, sure anything is possible with a gas axe and a mig welder.
