This just makes me feel good to see a KJ like that. What a beautiful rig. Finally. 8)

You guys should see about making this a kit. I bet you would sell a few to those who arn't afraid to cut and weld. Hell, if it was a kit, I bet there would be some defectors from the Wrangler crowd who are tired of driving their uncomfortable boxes to and from the trail.

So, in theory, if one were to drop off his KJ, how much would one pay for such a conversion?

I spent quit a while too, going through everyones pictures untill I found yours. Luckily they were in alphabetical order and you used the same name. To bad that sight isn't designed as well as it could be, its a pretty nice service.

I rode in Wally's jeep from Big Bear to my house (my junk was on a flatbed)....

when I 1st got in...it was just ALL WRONG..."a KJ shouldn't be this big !!"

80 mile ride down the fwy and that KJ was just cruising along at about 70....it rode better than my ZJ w/a Rubicon Express 4.5" kit on it. Totally stable, no darting, no wander,no tippiness...nothing but just right !

Nicely done for sure 8)

Yep...spit them out 3 different times. Made it down to the gas station near arrowbear and had to get a tow.

This is the first off road shakedown run for Wallys SFA KJ so he took it fairly easy on it. The ARB lockers were not yet operational so this was all done open/open diffs. It pretty much Walked right through everything in its way. A darn nice Jeep that I think ALL J did an outstanding job on. I would be Thrilled to own it and can't wait for my turn.
