This could be a good in between spot for Southern LOST to get together and wheel/camp. Check it out http://gorp.away.com/gorp/resource/us_n ... _missi.htm

I like this idea...anyone in the MS delta know how these areas are or any other details?? I got a friend who used to live in Hattiesburg, I'll give him a call and see if he ever did wheeling there with his 4-wheelers...I'm interested in going some weekend if we can get enough people together...heck maybe we can draw some georgia or florida people over if the wheelin is good enough in the parks...

i would be down for it in late october or early november when it cools down some so the camping will be better
as far as trails if it is any thing like what the forest service here in LA considers "ohv trails" then it will prety much be ridding on dirt roads and not very challanging but heck i will still go just to camp and hang out

Not sure about Desoto but I was talking with some old boy from Jackson at the airport in Memphis. He said there is a place called Black River or Black Lake or something where people go. Mostly mud....... I'm the same as you Jason. Even if it is some easy wheelin it'd be cool to just camp, meet, and wheel any way we can.

Your in Memphis and you don't even let us know it Travis...not sure if you were here for any amount of time but o well...yea I agree...just a weekend of camping and chit-chatting about and some wheeling of any kind sounds good...only prob is...can we get a date together for all of us? School is starting soon for some of us and I know some people have jobs they'll have to plan around...Labor Day weekend perhaps though...other then that most of my weekends are fairly tight b/c of school...but we'll see

My mistake then, I read it as if you had been here...maybe it was that you were just passing through the Memphis airport or something like that...but I did see memphis in your post so I jumped on the fact that you must have been visiting or something of the sort...at any rate hope all is well..

Maybe while in Redcreek you could find out any information on this Park and if they have any devent sites to go wheeling at...just a thought...if I can get down there over my Fall Break I'll probably camp out in the Park if that is possible (i'm sure it is though)...
