So the LA4x4 club ride in September will be near Kentwood, LA. It is a great trail. I would imagine some of y'all could tag along if you were so inclined. We NEED to at least meet up once, even if we don't go wheelin'. Did we ever decide if Jackson or Hattiesburg would be a good place to meet? |

I'll try and look into some good wheeling areas for a meet-n-greet in Jackson, MS or Hattiesburg, MS. I have a feeling Hattiesburg might be best but don't quote me on that. I'll let yall know if I find anything. |

yeah I got real bussy with work and other junk and have been out of it I say if some one else wants to try to set up a meeting with in 3 hours or so from NO area then you could count in me and the wife there was at one time a small off road park out side of hattisburg but the last time I was there I was in a ford ranger on 33's with 4"+ lift and got stuck on the "easy" stuff it was all mud I will ask around and see whats up it may be better now or it may be gone dont know |

just to up date this post I have not been out to the park ,redcreek, but I am thinking that I may be open this weekend coming I am not sure though ,what I plan to do ,if I can, is to bring my self and nolakj to check it out provided he can make it another ridding option is to maby set up something with one of the other local clubs on some private land but I can tell you now I will not even ask if I cannot get several ,over 5 not counting me and nolakj, to make a firm commitment if we cannot do something this year then so be it but I can tell you that next year we will be doing a ton of ridding starting in Feb. and probably every other weekend until October so I will make the plans but I need to know who wants to do what do you want to wait? do you want to do some thing soon? how far are you willing to drive? (keep in mind that I drive a min of 50 miles one way north and up to 95 miles or just over 2 hours) do we want to camp? if we wait we could maby get a ride on 2 places one easy and one not so easy in the same weekend I will be going out of town October 11-16 but befor or after works so let me know |

darn Dude! Looks like it's pretty much me and you as far as KJ Southern and actual wheeling goes. I'll check out Redcreek. Might as well use these MTs. I will be putting on my New upper A arms this evening. On a side note, I saw this silver KJ with ARB, roof rack, lift, tires, alloys etc.. in uptown by Tipitinas last weekend. I knocked on the door of the house it was parked at but no answer. Might have to leave a note. |
