what you see are the "big boys" The pics I posted I was running 30's and I was open up front ,trac loc rear Last year Travis ,nolakj, came out stock with no skids we had a few very new stockers ,temp tag stock there are trails for every size rig as long as you have skids you will be fine and there is always the old top of the hill and wach guys break stuff as I said once befor you could stay on the main road never hit a trail and still have a blast |

Stockers can and will have fun at this place. There are about 10 trails that I ran stock as a peacock (no skids, no rock rails, no lockers etc..). I had to turn around a couple times on a couple trails but I just went and had a blast not knowing what I was getting into at all. Not to mention the ride along factor and camping out. Plenty of guys with nicely built Jeeps are more than happy to take a passenger on some trails you might not otherwise get to be on wheeling a Liberty, built or not. I will be there and I highly reccomend it to anyone that can make it. |

very well put if for one reason to meet some great folks and get into seeing what a "jeep" can do besides the trails are 2 way and plenty wide for 2 way trafic if enough KJ's show I will be more than happy riding with yall on the "easy" trails until you get bold and hit the "good stuff" Travis if you want to hook up next week for that skid call me and let me know we may be able to work out something with the guys @ searchers and get it built and I will pick it up on my way to the meeting in Nov. |

I know.... I don't call, I don't write..... Haha. I have nothing going on this evening so I will have to stop by yo crib if you will be around. My next round of goals is this. 1. Xmission Skid - Pull it, measure it, get measurements to Phil. 2. Bumpstop extensions - figure out how to measure max upward travel before rub and fab extension. 3. Decide on which rockrails to go with. Still not sure if I should go with RLs sliders or Bouler bars and have a up and out tube welded on after the fact.?? 4. Change all lube. They are due. Looks like my weekend is gonna be busy. Oh and 5. Install my 4x4 lights. Bling bling biatch!!! |

This is a trick question as it was a prototype and needed to be modified after the fact as of right now I would say $150+/- I will be having some work done on the TJ by the same guy on 11/13 and nolakj is my ride home we will be bringing the "prototype with us to have one built for his rig it will be better and stronger so I would say maby top end $200 if that but that will be a "bolt up" so you dont have to drill in the skid you will need to drill in to the other skids and into the cross members for 1/2" bolts go check out his web site www.searchers4wd.com |

Come on you guys. There's gotta be a few of us that can make it to this awesome ride. I will be celebrating my 1 year of wheelin at this trip. The KJ is set up much better than it was the last time she went to Gilmer. |
