well just curious what the update is on the Expo, my local group MidSouth Jeeps is looking at making an appearance if we can...thanks!!!
You guys are more than welcome to come out
If you want I can talk with the tangi tourisam people and maybe get ya'll a deal on hotel rooms for the weekend?
The up dates are this
The trail/trails that I have been working on were "prerun" yesterday
we got just the right mix of rigs and drivers that we needed so now we can make "adjustments"
We had a JK on 33's
we had a KJ ,fredomKJ
and we had a bone stock TJ on street tires with a very "timid" driver
The KJ did as expected ,made every thing he tried
it helped that he was on the same trails only a week ago
The JK also did as expected ,made a bunch of turns and dinged a door on the driver side, all his falt as he did not wait for the trail guide who then had to rotate his heavy arse rig in the hole to keep him off of the tree ,that would be me, (me =
)
and the stock TJ had problems for 2 reasons , 1) timid driver 2) street tires in lots o mud
however the only time they took a strap was in 1 mud hole and that was from them draging both diffs and not hitting it running good
I would like to see a bunch more KJ's out for the Expo ,heck I would like to see a bunch of rigs period but thats just me
I can tell you this there is 1 hill that has yet to be climbed by anything other than a TJ/YJ/CJ or a sammi ,and 1 of the 2 sammi's rolled trying
when I guide the trails it is kept as an option with a by pass but I would love to see a KJ make it
I think it is a no way no how for the 4 door JK ,break over
I will try to get a pic of it if I can
Here ya go rubi on 33's
This is about as close as you can get to the "true angle" of the hill
