OK guys I have set the date with the club and it will be November 16-18
they just got back from a ride up at the place out side of Natchez MS and the place is great

The plan is to meet up Friday night and camp out
wheel ALL day Saturday and 1/2 day on Sunday
This place is as close to right in the middle as I could get
it is 3.5 Hours for me but wel worth it

to mapquest or google it to get a better idea
look for Vidalia LA

This place has plans to be a future OHV park that is privately owned
If the KJ group gets in they early COULD MAYBE get their own trail or something

Is this trail riding and camping in the State Park on the MS side or is it all around the surrounding area???

Can I bring down some other rigs too, you mentioned this was private land or something to that effect so I don't want to impose more rigs then there should???

No it is all private land and is in LA
Yes you can bring others dont be shy

They want to make this a semi-public park with restricted entry but if they see lots and lots of rigs showing up to ride it could go full open public the cost right now is on par with other parks like this $25 or so a day and $35 for the weekend I think
right now it is LA4X4 only so if others go they go as guest of LA4X4 and should mind their P's and Q's

Well what type of obstacles are we looking at for this potentially future ORV Park. Is it just a mud bog, or are there extreme hills and log crossings, threat of axles breaking and body damage and overall poopy pants happening? What should we expect???

NO MUD BOGGING
the guys who have been doing most of the work HATE MUD
but logs and rocks and hills with lots of "pucker factor"
axles breaking? YES I think the count is 1 axle every other ride

But dont let this scare you
the breakage is on the harder trails ,we are talking 35" Iroks 4.56 gears and dana 44's snaping
body damage can happen on every trail you run ,at least the ones I have run

No name as of yet it is still private land and ride with permission from the owner
the cam ground is Deer Creek wich is just across the hwy.

If you want to find out where it is located or to get an idea go to the LA4X4 forum and look under trail rides
at the top there is a section for points of interest and in there you can find directions
or just google map Sicily Island LA

Guys if you are going to make a ride this is the one
there should be loads of rigs from "super stock" to "holly crap modified"
the trails are fine for all but if you fall into the superstock catogory then
you MUST HAVE SKIDS AND HOOKS
OE skids will be fine for the trails you can run buy J.I.C. you need to have them ,all 4 of them

Let me know if we will be having a big group
I may do a cook out for ya'll
