We are in the process of setting up a trail ride on the 4th. of July weekend. This ride would be on Eglin Air Force Base. The base covers 724 square miles with about 580 square miles open to the public. Last years ride (long weekend) covered maybe 10% of it. There is water, mud, hills and deep washouts. The purpose of this announcement is so people can make FIRM plans to attend with lots of room to spare. Details will be posted as they get decided on. If it goes as last years ride did there will be plenty of space for camping. Motels are not too far away either. Terry PS: Post comments/questions in the Florida Section announcement. |
