My wife and I will be visiting New Orleans August 14th. to August 21st. We will be staying at the Quarter House in the French Quarter on Short Street. I would love to meet some of the LA guys!

I'm sure I can help put you in the right direction on the good food fix! Are you making trip in Liberty? If so you should run through Eglin to show wife.

Nope. How could you go there and not get the bbq shrimp.Everything else looks sooooo good though.
P.M.'s bbq shrimp are not shrimp that have been grilled, but more shrimp that have been cooked in pure butter with onions, garlic, and all kinds of good stuff served with french bread.

How about Ralph Brennan's Red Fish Grill.

Terry,

If you come to Baton Rouge (about an hour west of NOLA) drop by Fleur de Lis pizza. Cash or check only, been there since 1947. Best pizza I have EVER had, and I don't say that lightly by any stretch.
