Alright guys its time to start coordinating plans for us to get together another Eglin Trail ride. This summers July 4th run was great, although a little on the warm side. :) but last years ride was prefect, and we need another one.

SO lets start getting some plans together, Im sure I can count on a few to make this one for sure (scott, bub, billy, terry?)

Might be interested, but can I ride Eglin with no lift?

Chances are I'll back out of this one. I'm trying to get together money for a solid axle conversion next year.

not sure yet. Kinda waiting to hear from bub and billy. They have wheeled it the most here on the site, with probably me behind them. Also billy is usually very generous in letting everyone camp and meet up on his property.. So id like to tailor to their needs as much as possible im thinking early to mid november though..

I'm always up for a ride! I need to see when we close on our house and get moved in. So maybe late nov. or early dec. I'll probable be there thansgiving weekend but dad won't so maybe first or second weekend in dec. would be better. We will be riding some diff. areas! Alot of what we have been riding is close for good. But all is still good made us venture to diff areas. Still lots of good riding, and can still go to point. I will have a better idea of when is a good time later this week or early next week. BTW Terry have a nice d30 with 4.11's waiting for you for real cheep!! And it's already in FL.

Still thinking SAS Bub. I'll remember that D30 for sure although the gears will have to be changed.

Hood I'll post some pics, they say it's for run off and lizards. They are doing runoff control all over. I think some of the fun stuff has to do with a local 4 year old getting killed he was in the back of a pickup and got thrown out and hit his head. But we have found some other good spots. We rode from 87 to 85 to get new passes last month and it's a real nice ride. About 90 miles, 10 on road 80 miles of trails.

well the duece just got its oil leak fixed hmm... the problem is i want to test out the new tires on the jeep, but i dont trust anyone but me to drive it or the duece that far.. and the old chevy i beleive will be up at the hunting camp here soon, once i fix the transmission gear sensor.

the duece is just too big for most of the trails i've been on there, and id be nervous in those off camber situations.
