Well the time has come. I knew the day might come. Didn't know exactly when or where... but it has happened. Like so many others that have come and gone... my departure has now been carved in stone.

Farewell my most gracious southern friends... :( :dead:
It has certainly been fun.

:JEEPIN: <---- My Jeep. Wave goodbye to my jeep bouncing off into the wild blue yonder.... :grim:

Ok, so I was trying to mess with y'all a little bit.

The rest of the story. Kelly, my wife, is about to finish Vet school here at LSU. That's what brought us to Baton Rouge to begin with. Anyway, she applied and was accepted for a year internship in Greensboro, North Carolina. We are looking to live in the Winston Salem area. We should be out of here by the end of May.
I'm a southern boy so I'll never be gone for good.

Congrats!! You'll be riding the dunes at outerbanks I guess, at least it not that far away. Your still close enough for our Eglin rides right? We can plan them for when you guys are visiting family!!

Hey Bill!

I'll have to look into the dunes. I have already been told that Uwharrie NF is only about an hour away. Check YouTube for an idea of what it offers. You know I'll b checking that out! And if any of you fine folk want to come visit, come on!
That would be awesome to meet up with y'all when we come back to visit and hit up Eglin.

What ever happened with the tires, Bill?

They never got back with us, and they're off the list. My dads buddy with the Nissan patrol wants our tires and wheels if they fit so we might do the 35/12.5/15 LTBs on ? for wheels. They are a bit more offroad and likely ride like hell on road but you know our situation so no big deal!! You going to hang out in bama before you guys head out? I actually have lot of family up that way. And you'll be in the middle of Nascar country so that's just one more reason to get up there!

Well it's a mixed bag, shags. Hate to see you go since we only met once, but you're heading on to bigger and brighter things so that's good. GREAT public schools in the Winston-Salem area, for when you guys drop a litter or two.

Congrats to Kelly on the job, but even more on the successful completion of Vet School at LSU. LSU has one of the best, and it is an accomplishment in itself to get in, much less to graduate. Maybe she'll do farm visits in NC where she'll need 4wd to get to a sick horse. . . . ?

Bub, do you think this calls for a going-away M&G?

The Nissan Patrol... What a cool vehicle from the pictures you showed me.
I think the LTB's are what (the now kicked out) Jason had on his wranger. They were crazy awesome off road and loud on road. I think you will like them, especially in the situation y'all's jeep is in.
Don't know the exact plan yet but I am sure we will spend a bit of time in the Foley, Al area. We will have about a month after Kelly's grad before she starts work in NC. Of course we will have to secure a place to live and some major moving to do in that month.

Only once?! Seems like more but I guess you are correct.
Thanks for the congrats to Kelly. I'll pass it on to her. Yes, I am very proud of her! Yes, I think she will need a Rubicon with a Vet Box in the back! Since she is working on small animals, I might have a hard time getting her to go for it... although she would be down with a Rubicon.

Yes, yes and yes! :jester: Regardless of the reason, I would really like to have a gathering before move. Sometime between now and the end of April....

Awww, too kind...  And since I'm born and bred in the deep south, I'll never be completely gone.
I already told Kelly and she is all for a M&G. Her schedule is calming down now. She just finished her hardest rotation and its down hill from here, so she should have more time now.

Give me a call when yall get over this way, we'll have to go do some boating. and my jeep needs attention, I wrecked it the other day so I'm in the process of fixing that..

bub, bill, line (who I've yet to meet), yall all ought to get over this way and we'll go do some booze cruisin' out in the gulf!
