Hey guys, I've been lurking for a while now so I guess I better introduce myself. I have an '05 Liberty Sport Silver, Auto. Pretty basic, except for tow brackets to pull behind my motorhome. I just got a set of skid plates from a Lost member, plan to install them soon. I need new tires some time this year, but I'm thinking of maybe a lift (Daystar?) before.
It's my daily driver, but I just retired so I don't have to drive much :pepper:
I mainly plan to use it on trips for exploring backroads, etc. My wife and I are going to Desoto State Park Alabama next week, hope to find some neat roads there.
Oh yeah, I'm in Thibodaux if anyone is nearby.

Welcome friend.
I kick myself in the azz everyday for going to Monte Sano S.P. instead of Desoto,on the way back from the LOST ECS last year.If I make it this year I will DEFINITELY be staying a night or two in Desoto.

When you get your lift goods together,we can have a lift party.
Don't be afraid to ask for help,we are pretty good at getting together and helping one another down here.

x2. So far I know of we've had a trans service/ Provent party (I think all the other LA members have CRD's) and a snorkel install party, both of which were a great success. Also the Southern team organizes a ride at Eglin AFB in west Florida about once a quarter, and the Florida group is doing a ride at Ocala N.F. in central Florida this month. Several going to that one are going in their motorhomes dragging the KJ with them.

I'll be installing a lift sometime in the near future - I already ordered my upper A-Arms and am just waiting to order my Frankenlift. I know someone that has a full garage with a car lift that I plan on talking to about his facilities when it is time to plan the install - maybe we could plan a 2-fer.

That's up to you, mag - but that's a long way to go for a lift, especially considering you need to get it aligned immediately after to avoid wearing out your tires.

I'm shooting for a June timeframe, unless something comes up to make me do it sooner.
