Oatmeal sucks, dude. I was thinking of hitting a little place called Franks, where you can get normal breakfast food (and great biscuits) or, if you're feeling frisky, can get an alligator omelette. They got the goods.

Missed you at the install, shagamon. It was an adventure, that's for sure. 13 hours and it's still not completely done - I gotta figure out a better way to mount the remote reservoirs for the rear shocks. Gained right at 2.5 inches though.

Big thanks again to Bub and Lee. Bub, I'd still be in that shop if it wasn't for you. Lee, your lift and wealth of tools and knowledge is like a Mastercard commercial - priceless. Your buddy Fred is good people, too.

Haven't tried the gumbo yet - too hot outside for gumbo. Looking forward to a rainy Saturday to break it out, maybe. But I WILL eat it - you sold me on it's good qualities and flavorful flavorness.

Lift's doing ok, it rides great. I gotta get it back in the air and mount those rear shock reservoirs, though. They're knocking around on the frame rail behind the splash guard and it is driving me absolutely nuts. I wish I had thought that through a little better. First thing Satuday I'm jacking it up and taking care of those. Hard to enjoy it when it rattles and bonks like an old propeller C-47 over every pebble. Other than that, I need to level out the front. The driver's side is at 21", and the passenger at about 20.5". Gonna put my level on the bumper and get them both set at 21". I'm a little worried about my driver's side CV though because last night I was pulling through a drive-through and I heard faint clicking as I turned. I may end up dropping the height a little to about 20.5" both sides if I keep hearing it at 21".

Came out awesome.Used 1-1/2 rotisserie chickens and half a pack of spicy smoke sausage.

What is that dominant flavor or smell?I'm guessing saffron or something.
The smell was overwhelming, but the taste blends in when all done.

Thanks Lee.

I'm not sure, as my homeade gumbo doesn't have it. But like you said, I enjoy it... As-is
