Jason,
Thanks for the invite. Would love to go but I have to get my ball joints checked out first and LA is too far to ride in the CJ. Please let us know about future rides. Where abouts do you ride in LA?

Jason, as others have said - Thanks for the invite! Seems you are very busy hitting the trails, I hope we can ride together some time. Are you going to Hot Springs for the event when the camera crew will be there in May, thought about going then to see what all shows up with hopes of getting on TV. I'm not lifted yet and am new to offroading _ just got the KJ in late January this year. First went to Hot Springs 2 weeks ago and need to go back soon. Keep us posted about the rides and hope we can all get together.

Jason,
The TV taping will be done the week before the quarterly meeting, here is a link to their schedule http://www.orvpark.com/events/
maybe I can manage both of those and hopefully some others from the Southern LOST will be able to make it as well. When I was there before the "Arkansas Crawlers" were there with some very serious rides (mostly trailored in) so I didn't really get to see them in action as the stock KJ did not need to try to go on the same trails as them. The trails there do get serious if you are equipped to handle them, and have the experience, but there are also plenty that I handled with no problems.

How about it anyone else intrested in making a trip to Hot Springs anytime soon ???

jsut a note on those trail rides if you want to go on the ride at the end of april (4/23/2006 i think) if i could get a head count
of some tipe that would help as that i may be a "sell out" but if i get some kind of numbers i could hold some spots
i will also post up this info in the general rides section as well as in the florida and texas sections
just to be clear these rides are sponcored by a local 4X4 club the numbers that can ride are limeted but both clubs would
defiantly like to have some new folks come out to ride and i would like to see more KJ's out on the trails
i also put up pics in the wrangler section called "a few pics from a local ride"

I'll try to make it, there is a great alignment shop down there, I'm stopping there first to have him look at a dent in my crossmember, maybe he can HAMMER it out.

How much are the event fees??

I still ain't afraid of no tow strap, if you gotta tow me, I'd appreciate the pull.

Maybe Louisiana Sportsman on COXNET, can come film the ride?

yallare welcom to come out to any public event that i list how ever most of the rides that i list are sponcored by LA4X4
and they have a list of requirements for trail rides so befor you travel i would go check out their web page and make sure that your vehical of choice meets their requirements because i have seen folks turned awayand to travel from TX and not get to ride would suck
