Post subject:  Southern L.O.S.T. decal??? PICS FINALLY!!!!

Would anyone be interested in one? My sister is a great artist and I gave her a couple of ideas to throw into the design of the decal...mud is one of ideas for sure seeing how it rains down here a lot. I'm thinking of Southern L.O.S.T. scrolling across the top of a circular decal or Southern on the top part of the circle and L.O.S.T. scrolling along the bottom. Any other thoughts????

sorry for the delay on this but I have a design done (my sister actually did it though)...

Suggestion:

1) If you can picture the lost Rockies logo, picture the Southern one like this...

the same design KJ in center of sticker with mud flaring out on both sides and covering the front part, keeping part of the grill and the headlights exposed with "L.O.S.T." in the widshield and "KJ" written in the mud with "Southern" arched above the top of the windshield...

2) If you can picture the lost colored logo with just the front grill and headlights on it with "Liberty Owners Special Team" underneath it you'll have a better idea for this suggestion...

The same grill and headlights pictured except the center 3 grill slots will be removed and "L.O.S.T. KJ" will be there, below the grill it will say either "Southern" or "Southern Hospitality"...
On top of the grill there will be a depiction of that same small Jeep that is on the "L.O.S.T.KJS.com" circular logo with trees and mud depicted all around it on top of the grill...

I have a drawing of the 2nd suggestion that I will have scanned and posted hopefully later today if not tomorrow for you guys to throw even more suggestions out to...after we get a majority "vote" on one, essentially one that everyone is willing to pay for I'll talk to pixeldxn about making it for us if he can....

Any other thoughts are greatly appreciated...

hey man im pretty interested in something like that. I've always been kinda embarassed by my current KJ euro sticker cuz the whole thing with it actually saying "Liberty Owners *SPECIAL TEAM*" just, i dunno, no offense, sounds kinda lame. So yeah, a southern lost sticker would be a cool

Sounds good especially with the mud flyin'. I'd buy one. i think we have to clear it with Pixldzn tho. LOST is a registered trademark.

I plan on that, but I'd like to get a design done first before then so then they will be able to say yay or nay to it if it doesn't portray the image of lost the way they'd like it to...

Not yet, my friend who has about 3500 acres in the country is gone for a month with some sort of long family vacation thing and finally gets back the weekend after this one and I'm planning on getting her nice and dirty then....he's got this nice 40' hill you can climb that you have to get up to speed for and then avoid trees on both sides....we did it in a Ford Bronco that hada 4" Lift and then Super Swampers (can't remember size though) and it was mad crazy sliding around...so we'll see what develops soon..of course I'll post pics of the aftermath...

Well I went out for a ride Saturday and dangit if the weather didn't just turn horrible...I was able to go through a nice big construction site near my house where they are building a road through along with a bridge over a creek, the KJ did masterful work of the mud and there was no sign of getting stuck with the BFGs...needless to say because of the ensuing rain most of the mud that ended up on the KJ disappeared...Oh and a tornado decided to pop up near my and nickmv's (sp) house saturday evening too..about 2 miles from where I actually went wheelin too...scary stuff

Could anyone that is an official L.O.S.T. Rep or something like that critique these and see if they would be acceptable for representing L.O.S.T. or just plain meets the requirements to be accepted by lost....I noticed I just left out Kentucky in this....do those people from kentucky mind, even though I've noticed that your state doesn't seem to be affiliated with a Chapter yet???

wow, that looks really good, I'd vote for #2. I might play around with a logo this weekend and see what I can come up with, which will probably be nothing, because I'm not that great with Photoshop and I don't have a lot of time on my hands. Awesome work

oh yeah, and who would we contact about these stickers? Doesn't Pixeldzn do stickers for people?

P.S. I played around with it, and I think we could fit it on a circular sticker. Here's what I did with it in Photoshop, it's not a perfect circle since it was an elliptical tool, I can't seem to find a circle tool. Anyways, it's a rough idea of one way we could have it look.

I am def. willing to help. I can take that design and make it more circle friendly as well, especially being that I will have to recreate it to the proper format for decals - which a photoshop file is not.

Oh, and the state abbreviations will have to go. small details like that make these things a living hell to produce. I may be able to fit them in a different way though.

Stay tuned.

Any chance they could fit underneath the Southern Part and then the Southern part becomes part of the "bumper"? Just a thought...then there is the other design concept at the top you might be able to do something with too perhaps...thanks for your help!!!!! :P :P

We don't have them yet, but Pixeldzn I believe is working on shaping it up somewhat so it would be easier for him to produce...I know it will be 4" in diameter though, just like the National lost decal is...right now this is kinda Pre-lim cuz bootsers and I got to talking earlier and are thinking of something a little more rugged looking if possible, maybe with some "designed" mud flung out to the side or something if that were possible...i don't know how to use any of these computer art programs so I had my sister help me with what she knew in Paint and we came up with the 2 options you see in the first post...any thoughts you'd like to add to our logo??
