ok we ride again Sunday July 16th
the usual spot (st. francisville LA)
stock ok but skids ,front, trans, xfer case, and fuel tank required as well as front and rear recovery points
we have run this trail several times with stock KJ's and had no problems if you do not have the rans skid thats cool to i will help you by pass any thing that will cause damage i can only think of one spot off hand and thats a lod pile that i have seen stock LJ's get stuck on so no big deal

this will not be as big as the expo next week but it will be all day just one very long trail (4+ hrs)
we may have a morning and an afternoon run and this one almost always "sells out" it only cost $5 but there is a limit as to the number of rigs allowed on the trail at one time and club members get first dibs but as i said last time if you want to go i can hold a few spots but i will need to know by the first part of July

so come on lets ride????

call me if you need more info

any body interested
the old its to far away thing is not going to work because we had mudtrac from florida on the expo prerun and he drove like 10 hours
so unless its more than that i dont see a problem
we also had a group drive like 5 or 6 hours to come to the expo so if you want to wheel you will have to drive to get to the trails besides who wants to work on monday? drive up on saturday wheel sunday and drive home on monday then only work 4 days that week

Im coming form Orlando, you cant use that excuse... LOL Just tell the boss your gonna be out on monday and ride out there. You wont be dissapointed.

I will be there and looks like Im bringing another Liby with me. The guy I was talking about.
Yeah its sad but true, if you want a great off road adventure your going to have to hike it there cause the US is shutting up land and too many houses and condos to ride else where. This place is worth a 10 hour drive by far. I havent been to moab but Im bringing someone who has. And knowing from the ride I did and what Ive seen at Moab this is better IMHO than having to kick it the 32 hours to Moab and still have to drive back. And you can get some of the same type of skill trails , but with a bonus, NO ROCKS to kill your rig. still off camber but on clay not rock. dirt gives sand stone not so much.

hey MudTrac
this is not the same area we ran befor with the crack and the 2 very steep hills but some place else that i think is more fun
oh yeah rember when you rode with us a few weeks back and they had that deep dried up mud pit?
well for the expo we spent some time playing in that climbing the walls and stuff
all i can say is OMG
that pit claimed 2 drive shafts 1 roll over and i think it contributed to the end of my lower control arms besides that you could spend hours just trying to climb all the hills that lead up and out

Unfortunately I have to back out. :( Got a family reunion back in South Dakota. :? I'll be gone from the 10th till the 18th of July. It's gonna be freshly lifted too. Oh well. Some other time hopefully.

i would like to know asap so i can make sure that i put down my name for that many spots should it look full
they limit the # of rigs to 70 for the day and 15 or less in a group and i would like to have all the KJ's in a group together
all i know of right now besides my self is MudTrac +1 so thats 3 any body else?
the local guys would like to see more KJ's but the #'s here are small

quick update
they put a cap on the # of rigs i only reserved 3 spots my self +2 if you are on the edge and want to go dont wait post up tonight so i can reserve you a spot
this is a club run and members get first dibs but if you are traveling a distance they probably will not turn you away

MudTrac
go hit up the LA4X4 sight and sign up under nonmembers even though i put your name down that will help should it get tight dont worry if it gets full they will break it up into smaller groups also i signed us up for the morning ride thats when it looks like the more "built" rigs will be riding so maby it will be a little more fun as in we may take some harder trails
