I'd be happy to do the planning if we get enough people to go to bham.

Poor excuse
it is in longveiw TX or right outside and is about 7-8 hours for me and I drive it in a TJ with a soft top
the one thing that I have come to realize is that if I want to wheel something that I dont wheel 50 times a year then I will need to drive to get there
I probably drive 4 or more long trips a year in the TJ I just got back from telico ,600+ miles one way 10 hours drive time when you stop for gas and food in 6 days we drove 1400+ miles
driving to wheel is part of wheeling you wanna wheel you gotta drive

I still keep it open as an option. If the event is big enough I will think about going.

last year when we went out there we had 2 clubs from south la with probably 50 rigs
also toyota had a "jamboree" that weekend and there must have been 200 toys there as well as the usual 50-100 local rigs that show up I never hit a trail where there was less than 2 other groups of any where from 3 to 10 rigs
It is a public park so you can count on a big crowd and they are all social cause they are all in to the same stuff

If you are going then what is you plan for rock rails and a trany skid? Is it to just go and deal with it?

I have a couple of liqour stores in mind ...... to rob that is LOL. I'd like to make a template of your tranny skid if possible. Sliders will probably be from Rock lizard or Boulder bars. I need to decide soon I know.
