Coming from Orlando, depending on what side of town you are on. Come North on US 441 into Eustis, then turn right onto SR 19 north. That will take you about 20 miles up to Altoona, where the Kangaroo Station is.

How long will we be riding for? (times no issue for me, just wondering how long we'll be out for)

if we end of going late and people don't want to go home I have extra room at the ranch I live at and is about 20 min from the ride site.

Make sure to bring a lunch and some drinks. We will be meeting at 10am but I figure, like last time, we'll all want to talk and look at rides before heading out. I expect to hit the first trail before 11am. That trail shouldn't take us more than one hour to complete. Then from there we're open but I figure we’ll eat before going to much further. I know that Mudtrac knows some of the trails up that way. What I was thinking about doing was heading out around the bombing range then heading to Eureka Sand pits area. Eureka will be way up on the north end of Ocala National Forest. If anyone wants to ride somewhere else let me know.

Remember guys, bring enough water and food for the most of the day, Fill up when you get to the gas station were meeting at and if you have 2 way radio or CB bring them too, trail talk is always good. I think most of us have CB and if not hit up walmart and buy a 2 way radio, their cheap enough, and have many uses, hurricanes, hiking, kids, long trips to the mall... They just help you to know whats going on when your 7 trucks back and were all stoped and just sitting there because were having to wait on a avt or something.

Also remember what you bring out there with you needs to be hauled back out with you, I wont tollerate littering up my forest  This part of the forest is a second home to some of us and its a home to many things that dont need your trash LOL. Wes already said it but no alcohol. We will have a great time so dont worry about that. Look forward to seeing you all there.

Do you guys think we should exchange phone numbers just in case anything happens we can keep in touch (traffic, etc)? Maybe in a PM or something?

It turns out that I am going to have to meet you guys a little late. I will try and be up there around 1:00. If anyone has direct talk on your nextel please use it while you are on the ride so I can find you guys. Wes, when you all get together and find out what route you will be on, give me a call on Nextel so I can meet up with you. I wish that I can go from the beginning, but I have to pick teams for my sons little league team at 12:00. Maybe we can get carried away and ride later into the evening.

Rob don't worry about it, we will most likely be stopping somewhere around the Gas pipeline to eat lunch. So we can meet you at SR 40 and the Pipeline at 1pm or at SR 19 and SR 40. I really don't see us getting to Eureka Sand pits much before 2pm. I figure we will ride around Eureka for a while and then start breaking up after giving direction to everyone to get home.

Another thing to add to the list, bring a chair for you and your riders. Very few of the spots out there have a place to sit down and eat. Also I would like for everyone to meet with Mudtrac and I before we go out. I want to see if we can get everyone lined up with the inexperienced in the middle of the line. I think everyone has been offroading except maybe one or two of us.

I will have a CB and some FRS Radio's. My CB is just a handheld so we may have to relay from back and front.

Look like God has blessed us with awesome weather, should be about 68 degrees and sunshine. (I’m bragging to the guys up north)

Hope everyone is excited, this will be great fun!!!

Wes

If anyone needs to call my cell is 321-377-8308, I have it on me all the time, if you need help finding the station or your running late give me a call and let me know. Or if you have other questions feel free to hit me up. We encourage family participation but remember, your kids will be in a slow moving car all day long, use best judgement on this, there are no public restrooms in the middle of the woods, be prepared. Thanks

I'm so friggin excited!!!!!! I can't wait to go with a big group. I'm going to the Jeep dealership today to pick up the bolts to put on the rear tow hook I got off ebay for $12!!! Hopefully I won't need to use it.

I don't think I'll be able to sleep tonight!
