Today we had our 2007 get-togther. We had about 13 - 15 rigs, i never made an accurate count. There were 4 KJs, (should have been more), a couple TJ's, 1 GC, 2 toyotas and an isuzu something. We had a great time and rode for about 5 hours. There were some first timers, but they did great and finally got some mud on the paint, it was great to meet everyone and put names with faces. Here are some pics, if anyone else from the ride has pics please pm me and I will give you the user name and password for the cardomain page I set up for Down Right LOST. Or add your pics here so we can share. Wes's winch came in handy 3 times...once for me

Introducing mlr...he has a great looking rig!

It looks like you all had a great time. I wish I could have been there with you guys. I got up there late and wasn't able to find you due to lack of signal. Lets ride again soon.

Great day of fun. We have to quit waiting a year in between get togethers. Well I'm out of the offroading until after my Tellico trip in Feb. The rest of the time I have off, I have to prepare the Rubicon for the 2500 miles trip to Tellico and then to Panther Creek Alabama.

It was great meeting all of you guys and the ride was awesome. We can't wait to do it again. Here's a link some of the pictures we were able to take before the camera battery died (oh and don't mind the date, for whatever reason it says 01/01/05):

That was a pretty deep water hole, both gassers and CRD's made it thhrough with no water in the intake. The only time I got water in the intake was the other weekend when the water came all the way up my hood. It was just a little water that just went into the big plastic box, the intake on CRDs is different though.

So do you think the box on a CRD might be more seceptable, or less? I have heard of CRD owners replacing theirs with the 2004 3.7L air box to provide more surface area for the air hungry diesel..

yes i believe they are...the gassers have a little foam pad on the hood that helps keep water out as well, idon't believe the CRDs have it. I would post or look on the diesel board and see what else the guys are doing about this.

JL Rockies,

We go all the time up here in the Forest. What part of the great sandbar do you live in? Is it close to Lake or Marion County.

You guys ever ride Eglin?
I went one weekend this year in late winter after mad rain, and got a load of water and clay
in the box.
Got me a snorkel.Went a few weeks ago,and was all dried up.
Anyway Eglin has sooooo many trails, the sense of adventure is awsome.
The pass is only like 10 bucks.

We're in the 2nd half of 2008. Times running out to keep the "yearly ride" going.

You'll need to change it to bi-anual ride.

I'm in for a good ride. Lets see where everyone is that would be interested and pick a spot hopefully in the middle of everyone. I'm in Saint Augustine.
