Hey guys, Ive decided what to do for my Birthday, Im going camping and riding. I know of a great spot with no traffic and has lots of room and tons of firewood, best of all its free to camp there. Its off of Hwy 19 close to where we were riding. Im going to organize a ride for saturday and have a cook out on saturday night. If you want to come camp that weekend post up, or if you just want to ride thats cool too. This will be Febuary 23-25 Friday Satyrday and Sunday for the camping and the ride is on the 24th my birthday. We'll have some hamburgers, scewers, steaks and hotdogs. Im going to need a final head count by Feb 12th. We will do some of the same trails and a lot more new ones. Everyone is welcome even new guys. Depending on the head count we might need help with a little bit of the food but for the most part its all free but the gas to get you there. Oh dont bring any gifts or cards, this isnt what its about, its about riding and camping, I dont really do the birthday thing.

Sounds good, unfortunately we won't be able to stay all three days, but we can make it to the ride on the 24th. Me and Tammy (girl who rode with me Saturday) will be there if thats alright. Can't wait to go again. Oh, is anyone gonna be there with a winch if Wes doesn't go?

I hope that wasn't meant toward me :D That was the first time I've been out there we have needed a winch. But it's always good to have one just incase!

Haha Bryan, don't worry it wasn't aimed at you. I was just wondering if anybody was gonna have a winch just in case.

I have a big hand winch if Bryan wants to pick it up that weekend, but you guys should be fine if you take a few straps and shackles. Mudtrac should be able to get you out of just about any problem. I also get off work at 6pm and could ride out if the winch is needed.

we have some huge come-alongs if needed too. You never know when you'll get stuck, just got to be prepared. I dont expect many people to stay the whole time, if you want to great but I know some people have to work and such. The day ride will be great though. The rain should be picking up by then and there will be enough mud for eveyone. Infact this week its raining and Im going back out to RR Grade to see if its any deeper on sunday. I also wanted to check out a few other sand pits I found on google maps. Im also trying to arrange a ride in Inverness,

sorry this is a bit off topic, but mudtrac, were you on I-4 yesterday?? I think I spotted you getting off at the lake mary exit around 2:45. I noticed the CD antenna so I assume it was you, if not, you have a twin

yeah man, I was on my way to pick up my bro-inlaw and go to Monster Jam truck show. Was wondering might you want to go riding tomorrow afternoon? Ill be off work all day if so. I could use some trail time to get my mind off some stuff. Kinda the same area I showed you last time.

Maybe bring some veggies, like potatoes, onions and bell peppers, we could do the bamboo stick thing, scewers or whatever. Fire roasted potatoes are always good. Im going for BYO"Beverage" I'll have some brews but Im not buying for everyone, think the steak thing is good enough.

:( its looking like i may have to back out of the ride. I have to work until the afternoon time,,,frick!!!!!!!! On another note, I went down railroad grade today cause I was bored and hhhhhhhhooooooly cow. that water was deep. It went all the way up my hood at one point, seriously, the water came up to the below the wipers. I was scared i was going to bog down, i had ALOT of water resistance.......stupid stupid stupid, never wheel alone! would have made a great pic though.

i will keep ya'll updated though on my status for next weekend

Does anyone still want to go on Saturday? Unfortunately we can't do Sunday and were really looking forward to going tomorrow.
