Here is the deal...sort of! A trail ride, in Ocala Nat. Forest or go to Hard Rock in Ocala. We all could meet for breakfast somewhere first if that is possible. Have it on a Saturday or Sunday, depending on group wishes. I will give a prepaid fuel card for $30.00 to the FL member that travels the most distance.

UPDATE: Aug.18th. at Hard Rock (Ocala) was selected.

So far the following have interest: +3

Fulltimer
MudTrac
Jeep4me99 ??

OK, how about August the 18th or Sept. 1st? Both are Sat. We'll plan on going to Hard Rock in Ocala. There are several place to eat lunch. We would have to do a drive through for breakfest but we can ride a bit in the morning, eat lunch, and then ride some more in the afternoon.

Does this sound like something people would want to do?

It sounds good to me. If either of you guys know any other members how about dropping them an e-mail. It would be great to have a real good L.O.S.T. showing! Especially after a few comments I over heard about me having a KJ instead of a Jeep!!

Lets go with Aug.18th and have Sept.1st. as a backup. Now if only we could get more bodies! BTW: leave early and you won't be late :-)

I'm stock too. OEM tires.
This is my first 4x4. I've never done any serious 4 wheelin. I've only done
a few of the tank trails here at Camp Blanding.

I don't know what the rating is. I'm stock and I had some fun there. There are a couple of spots where you need to be lifted but not all. Join us and have some fun!

Hard Rock will be fun for lifted and stock. I have recovery gear to get you out of just about any trouble. There will be some climbs and stuff you won't want to attempt, but most of it will be doable in a stock vehicle. We'll go over some basic safty rule before we ride, for those that have never been riding, but it will be a fun time.

Hey Fulltimer, why don't you change the name of the tread to "Hardrock Trail ride." Maybe it will catch a few more eyes.

$25.00 for the day. Here is a link to their site: http://hardrockmx.com/index.htm

Check out the thread in this section called: New Off Road Park In Ocala, or something like that. It has pictures and a video.

sweet, it can be my birthday ride!!! Newbies/stockers come anyway, even if you have to be a ride along, it will give you a good idea of what the KJ can do. Then you can start spending $$$ on cool stuff!!!

My rear suspension has been making some strange clunking lately...hopefully hardrock will knock it out :D
