Heck yeah, I will give you some cash for it. I do just use the receiver pin, for tow strap use, but gladly buy the hook from you. I need to get a couple phone numbers PM'd to me. I will give you mine too.
I have never been on a ride in Ocala. My only experience is lots of sugar sand trails, and some mud.

I didnt think you could have the reciever and the tow hook??? I had to take mine off to put on the factory reciever. If you can make it work its all yours.

Oh sorry, factory tow hook, right, can't have both on there. thought you meant a hook for the hitch receiver.

I have never been to the places you mentioned, only some mild trails. KJScott: If you have skid plates you won't have a problem at Hardrock. That is all I have and no damage to the rocker panels. I'm not lifted either.

Here is a very rough est of what we will be doing, we will end up taking Rail Road Grade (RRG) north to 573, then go east cut thru adn across the powerlines to Powerline rd, go east on powerline rd and cross 445, take the second trail past 445 north to Paisley rd or 538-1 then we will travel east past Mud Pond and take a left on to 539, this goes north east to 540-2 and comes around to Deer Haven rd, then we will go out Clay Lake rd and east back to the river, there are some more trails that go back north and or back to 42 from there and depanding on our time we cna split up or I will take who ever wants to around the trails there, plenty of nice camp sites and fishing holes in that area. Also depending on time and weather we could try and take 42 back to 19 and then go north to eureka, but my guess is there will be tons of bike traffic there, due to the rides the have for the next weekend at hardrock, its closed for racers.

Second thing who knows about or does "GeoCaching" we can discuss a geocache meet and or pick and few caches out in ocala nd go find them...

I forgot to mention this: as far as the numbers go, if everyone shows up there should be between 12 and 15 rigs! Nice number!

Just a reminder to all, there is no off road riding on trails that are not numbered roads or designated 4x4 trails. If caught Forestry will hand out large fines. We need to keep it on marked numbered roads and trails designated with a little brown jeep sign. I'm checking with forestry about the 4x4 trails. I have heard that you need a day use permit from one officer and that you don't from another. I will get that clarified as soon as possible.

All the trails are named and or numbered, that I have us using, most the St Francis area is all Jeep no ATV. I have heard the same from the forestry dep. As a precaution, Im bringing trash bags and will collect some trash along the way to show good faith ;)

00yllwrsp did you see any part of the map that we should avoid? Im pretty sure that its all good... Ill call the ranger station again to clarify.

Im going to be camping this weekend also, near where we are riding. room for maybe 2 more rigs and tents in the spot if anyone is interested.

Great idea on the trash bags! The 4X4 guys/gals need to do more of that. Creates good Carma. BTW, I have people coming from: L.O.S.T., "My Jeep Space" and NEFGA (North East Florida Geocachers Association). This is what you call a well balanced group! :D Anyone from any other groups?
