OK me + 1 (trooper)
Wes, you want to go out and scout some good trails for that weekend? I can meet ya and see what we come up with, I'm running out this weekend too 9-10th. The Dune Buggy has had me cooped up in my garage for the last couple weeks.. time to get out and ride a little.

If we get a good number and we needed some really fun place to ride there is always HardRock, would be nice for some of the new guys... and its cheep enough..

I think I'm going to let 00yllwrsp lead most of the time. His zone as a Deputy is up in the forest now. He should know all of the good trails. I figure if it's open we'll ride Railroad grade first. Last time I was out it was pretty fun. Water level are back up, deep enough for fun but shallow enough a stock liberty can clear it.

I have to work this weekend, but I may head out one day this next week.

Wes

Well guys, some of you have seen my other post. The funeral for John is on the 15th at Arlington National Cemetery. I'm afraid I won't be able to make the ride after all. I won't be able to make it back in time. You guys have a good time and take lots of pictures.

Wes

Sorry you can't make it Wes, but that's understandable.

We'll get some good pics for ya...

Anyone have any ideas to what they want to ride? Back at the sand pit? Hard Rock? or Forest roads? I can get us around anywhere there....

I haven't been there before, I don't have sliders and not crazy about trail induced rocker panel adjustments if possible. Isn't that a possibility at Hard Rock? Water crossings, trails, would be great, again I haven't been there to know. I am leaving it to the majority and I will be there. Really looking forward to going. :D

If it is possible I would like to see both. Hard Rock is fun, but it doesn't take very long to go through all of it.

Ok I say we try and find a route to eureka with out using paved roads... mostly like we did before when we went out there. but there is tons of open trails around the area, plus if any of the sand rails guys want to come they would have issues at hard rock, and the rest of our ride is free if we avoid hard rock. Plus the st francis area should be nice too, there is some good riding there and plenty of great places to stop and take lunch.

* How many people going have never been down RR grade or been along for a ride with me? trying to get a feel of new guys and what kind of experiance they have?
