| Post subject: | Soldier in Iraq will miss the ride on the 16th. |
Just wanted to let you guy know that the 16th maybe a little emotional for me. One of my friends died in Iraq yesterday. He was suppose to be home for the ride on the 16th. I just talked to him online about the ride Thursday. He was Daniel's, (cur10u5g30rg3) brother. Some of you remember Daniel from the previous rides. He has a silver Grand Cherokee. His screen name is cur10u5g30rg3. Daniel called me this morning about his brother. His brother, John, was a Sgt. in the Army, 82nd air borne. We were hoping that he would be home in time for the ride Saturday the 16th. We are still not sure what happened. I'm not sure Daniel will make the ride now, but I'll still be there. John died fighting the good fight, he will be missed. Please pray for John's brother, mother, two sisters, and his girlfriend. Wes |

Sorry to hear that Wes. I remember him and his rig, it was pretty sweet. Peace will come by remembering the good times you two had together. have fun and be safe this weekend. |
