X2 guys,T.S.Fay should be a major rain maker. JL,that snorkel might come in handy if you hit the trail this weekend. Good luck. |

Well, it looks like we might take a direct hit when she comes back to land as a hurricane. I'm all set for her! The KJ will be all loaded up and ready to go if they order an evacuation. Terry |

Thanks for the well-wishes! I have everything in the yard tucked away in case we get alot of wind, and I also have the trucks/Jeeps ready for trail rides if any of the heavy rains come this way... |

Fay being the Bit*h she is changed her plans again! Now she isn't going out to the Atlantic to gain strength. Moving slowly up the coast and is expected to hit here in Saint Augustine Thursday then head west. I went out to the beach and took some pictures. Terry
A brave bird checking things out and looking for a hand out! Note the palm tree blowing!

Some areas have over 25" of rain right now, expecting at least 30" total. Here in Saint Augustine we are getting 40 to 50mph winds right now. This morning I went out to get some beach pictures and the winds were a steady 40mph. Hard to hold the camera still! There are a lot of trees down and the electric has gone out numerous times. We expect to get at least 12" of rain. Flooding for the next couple of days. The storm is only moving at 2mph so it just sets and dumps rain and wind. US-1 through Saint Augustine has strong cross winds. Strong enough that my KJ at 45mph was all over my lane. It rocked setting at traffic lights. Terry

I just got this image. Saint Augustine is south of Jasksonville right on the edge of the storm band. The actual eye of this storm is about 30 miles south of here. Terry
