To Join us in a ride at Eglin Air Force Base.

The date we are shootin' for is november 8th (weekend after holloween).

This is merely a heads up, and we would love for anyone to join us, KJ or not.

check out http://www.lostjeeps.com/forum/phpBB3/vie ... hp?t=36143 for up to date info as the date nears.

If you have never been there it as awesome, 280,000 acres of fishing, wheeling, camping, hunting, canoeing, ect.
and only costs 10 per year for a pass.

1. That argument isn't going to fly in these parts, believe me I tried

2. That area isn't really Florida, it's more Alabama or Mississippi

I would go, but I will be on the Rubicon Trail that weekend 8) don't hate.

...Congratulate. Isn't that what Rev Run says?! :)
Have a blast on the Rubicon Trail. I'll be looking for the pictures and ride report.

You are the main guy I want to see there
I wanted to be able to study your KJ with a fine tooth comb. My CRD idol!

I'm planning on being there. I have to make a stop for a visit in Carrabelle and then there are the worlds best oysters in Apalachicola.

Does the Jeep have to be street-legal to run this ride?

Love me some salty ersters.Raw of course!!!!!!!
Full,I told my cousin that you were retired military, and were going to pass on the pass, and he told me he went riding with a
friend that was in the military, and they gave him a 60$ ticket.
So,might wanna get a pass, but like i said"riding there for two years and never seen a MP yet".Up to you.

Rutdggr,Unfortunately yes it does have to be street legal. The only plus to this is that there are no FOURWHEELERS.
Can't just throw a plate on it?

Anyone interested,I can probably get the passes beforehand. Not open on Saturday.

Thanks for letting me know about this requirement. I still don't have a clear title for my J-20, so I am unable to get a tag at this time. Hopefully soon...

Don’t tempt me, you never know I might show up in! :D

And my daily driver WJ towing my broken pull truck home one time…

I checked out the link to past rides over there, but I’m kinda hesitant about taking the Liberty through any of those deep water crossing though. I do ride the Apalachicola National Forest with the KK, but I avoid the tight trails. Don’t want the scratches on this ride that the others have…

Rutdggr, The crossing you saw in the FJ link is a creek we often swim in.Snorkel or not,I aint crossing it,I know the way around it.Though last month i saw a stock land rover and a stock cherokee cross it with no problem.Next day my cousin in a 6-inch lifted TJ get stuck.STAY FAR RIGHT!!!So don't worry about high water.Really only 2 deep crossings, and I got stuck in the other one due to big rocks in it.Luckily my door seals held out water.
As for scratches, well this place is perty rustic.
