I'm awake!!!!!!!!!!!

Just got home from a day at Bub's. He hooked a brother up in a huge way. Y'all kids missed out.
I am now SERGed, ProVented and new black diamond plate wind deflectored. That man knows what he is doing and did most of it himself while I watched and tryed to learn.

Then to top it off, he had me sit down in his massage chair for 15 minutes. Best massage chair I have ever sat in. Didn't want to get up.

A Huge THANK YOU to Bub.

Look forward to riding with all of you Saturday at Eglin!

Bill, include me in the address PM when you are ready to send it out please.

Scott

Yes, well, I should say that Bub finished.
It was a very productive day.
All three tasks complete, even stopped and went to lunch at a wonderful little sub shop that only a local would know about, and I was back home to Baton Rouge before sun down.

I am ready for EGLIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I want a snorkel too but afraid due to money (and probably Bub's patience;-) it will have to wait!

It looks like I won't be bringing the camper after all. So I'll be getting a motel room or maybe Quarters on the base.

check up by I10 on 87 they have 2 place. One nice and one that doesn't look to bad. Or you can bring a tent and a fan!!! Not to bad at night now good breeze. Why no trailer??

When towing the trailer my mileage drops by 50%. That makes for an expensive trip. Besides I'm having problems with the AC in it.

I have reservations at the KOA at I-10 & 87. (Changed my mind and taking the R-Pod) The campgrounds (2) at Eglin don't take reservations so I'll go there first and see if they have an opening. If they do I cancel the KOA, if not I'll go to the KOA! Very simple really!

I will look a little different this time. I took off the roof rack! I'm trying to get a little better mileage when towing the camper.

Terry

PS: I'm counting down the hours!

Everyone: Don't forget to bring your bathing suits and a few towels(for you and your seat),cause I plan on jumping in any and all cold creeks we come across.Bring mask and snorkel if you're game.I'll have mine.

I'm stink'n revved up and ready to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The 2 campgrounds at Eglin don't take reservations because there are no SPOTS to reserve. You've probably been to both last year and didn't know it.They shouldn't call them "campgrounds",but more"woods they allow camping".

Terry, you're the only one staying,so take the R-Pod over to Bills,we'll find a good spot(if neighbor isn't there, you'll have your own yard),we'll run you an extension cord(to keep coooooooooool),you'll be close and SAFE(away from rednecks),Gail will knock on your door in the morning with coffee and blueberry pancakes, and everything will be swell. You are MORE than welcome.(Don't make me call your wife. )
Terry,I was wondering if you will be bringing a full tank of air, because I'd like to air down a bit due to the dry loose sand.

Terry you got a little spot right on the bay with your name on it with power and a restroom. And you don't need res. Also did everyone get pm who needs it? Bub we have a good 12v compressor in the jeep no need to waste tanked air. And don't forget cb radio!!
